Fees, deposits and cancellation

Everything here is stated in United States dollars, per person. Fees cover the whole course.

The 200 hour fee varies by month: October and November intakes are priced at the higher figure. The exact fee for your dates is shown on the dates and fees table and is confirmed in writing when we accept your application.

Optional extra

An air conditioned room, where offered on your dates, is $300 on top of the course fee.

What the fee includes

Accommodation for the full course with attached bathroom, three vegetarian meals a day plus two teas, all teaching materials and course books, a yoga mat, props and a school tee, cleansing materials, every class and ceremony, the cultural excursions listed on the course page, and free taxi pickup from Dehradun airport.

What the fee does not include

Flights and Indian visa fees
Travel and medical insurance, which we ask you to hold
The air conditioned room upgrade
Yoga Alliance's own registration fee, paid to them directly after you graduate
Ayurvedic treatments and massage
Personal laundry, and meals taken outside the ashram

Deposits

Nothing is charged when you send the application form. After we accept your application, a deposit holds your place:

The balance is due before you arrive.

Cancelling or changing your dates

If your plans change, tell us as early as you can and we will do what we can to move you to another intake.

Ashram to confirm before this page goes live with advertising The written refund and cancellation terms for the teacher training courses have not yet been supplied, and this page must not be advertised against until they are. Specifically needed: (1) whether the deposit is refundable, and within what window; (2) whether it can be transferred to a later intake, and for how long; (3) the position if a student leaves part way through a course; (4) the position if the ashram cancels or reschedules an intake.

The retreat programme publishes a 20% deposit that is non-refundable but transferable within 12 months. It has not been confirmed whether the same applies to teacher training, so it is deliberately not stated here.

If we cancel

If we have to cancel or move an intake, we will contact you as soon as we know and offer you a place on another date or a return of what you have paid.
